Richard J. Alvarez as born in 1961, in Santa Monica, California.
He graduated from Birmingham High School in 1979. He was a "jack" of all trades - painting, tile setting, and gardening. Rick loved the Dodgers and the Raiders. He was an avid fisherman - loved going out on the ocean with his fishing family.
He also loved music. He played the guitar and would listen to his CDs forever.
He is survived by his father, Sal; his sisters, Ethel and Virginia; as well as, his nieces, Danielle and Samantha; and his nephew, Matthew.
We would like to thank our friends and family for all their love, help and support. But mostly, for sharing in Rick's life with us.
