Hey Daddy this is your number 1 daughter! it’s going to be 13 years since you’ve been gone it doesn’t seem like 13 years.  Daddy so many things that I wish I could share with u.  I would give Anything to have you here with me/us.  So much has happened, I know ur happy because ur Chona is up there either u. I MISS U SO MUCH!

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you wishing you were here with us. I MISS YOU DADDY :'(

When I met Pete I was 19 years old. He would say oh no Rudy's bringing a white girl here.He was hilarious, he would smile the biggest smile whenever he saw Rudy and I pull up. I couldn't get over how much he loved Rudy. I remember he would say to Rudy, "I buy you books and buy you books, when are you gonna learn." He was a good man, grandpa, and grandpa grandpa! I feel blessed that my kids, his grand-kids were able to spend time with him before he moved on. I love you and will remember you always. Keep your eyes on everyone.

When my dad told me my Uncle Pete had passed it didn't hit me till I hung up the phone I thought I would be okay with it because he lived a long life but no I started balling like a little kid at work just so many good memories were racing through my head my moms Japanese so when I was a kid he would call me Fried Rice I had no Idea back then why he would call me that but I get it now and I laugh we would go deer hunting and dove hunting he would bring my cousin Rudy down and the Russian and we would have a good time I still member when my Grandma Lupe would make Tacos Uncle Pete would be served first and let me tell you he could put at least a dozen away with no problem I always looked forward to his visits and I wish our family's Lived closer but I know Uncle Pete is in the place we all want to be at when our time on Earth is over but I still will miss him love you Uncle Pete....I wish I could wistle like him

When My Mom found out that her Dad was sick she left to be by his side. For 4months her & my Little brother Joseph took care of him. She was blessed to help him when he needed her and she stayed with him until the very end... Mom i just want to say that i'm proud of you & I know Grandpa is too!! While at the house she went though his drawers and,found a card that she had given him Father's Day of 2008. He had kept it this whole time... When we first found out my grandpa was sick, it was unbelievable and it hit us pretty hard because as kids we never imagine our  selfs in this situation,we never imagine that  one day we would have to say goodbye to someone we love so much.But sadly today we have to, we are saying goodbye to a Husband, a Father, a Grandfather & a Great Grandfather. I am glad to say that because of my grandpa I have lots of Great Memories. If you knew him then you knew that he made a joke of everything and didn't care if it was funny to anyone else as long as it was funny to him! I found comfort in that humor... Til this day i still don't know what really happen to his fingers, All I know is Grandma got mad at him and bit then off... it is his humor I'll miss most of all!!!!I will cherish the memories i have of him, I will sing "School Days" to my kids before i drop them off for school as he did for us!Grandpa I want to Thank you for everything you've done for My Mom and us kids, every time we needed you, you were there.  U were a Super Hero in my eyes but now you are an Angel, it breaks my heart to say Goodbye to you...I love you & don't ever forget it!!!

My grandpa was suffering; & it was time for him to go.He was strong,and thoughtful, like any other humble person.I know that it's hard to except that he is gone; but to, we need to be happy now,He is in a better place & he's watching overall of us.He was the funniest person in this family, the random things he said.I wont forget the times he would sing and make me laugh,But most of all,I wont forget the last thing he told me.He said; I love you sweetheart,you're my queen, I love you so much. That truly affected me in  a way no one will ever understand.It's the good times we have to remember, not the bad.He wasn't perfect, but he was a perfect grandpa to me,and even though he's in heaven Love is stronger than death,even though we can't stop death from happening,but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love.It can't take away our memories either. In the end,love is stronger than death. July;18th,2012

I was sad to know that Mr. Rodriguez passed away. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember Pete for his great sense of humor ...

My Sweet Don Pedro we miss ou so much it so hard to look at that empty chair outside your house ... I am going to miss seeing you sitting outside at the time i go to pick up my troops from school ... I will for ever treasure in my heart the day of your 90th bday how you got so excited when you saw us w the bday cake and you started singing and crying so emotional I will never forget you my sweet neighbor you are now resting even though it hurts all of us who are still here that your gone but we are glad your not suffering anymore RIP Don Pedro.. Joshua washa, Eddie, Chabelita , the Boss and me Diana will never forget you .
