Dear Barb and family,
So many great memories we shared with our super husbands who worked together in the Detective Bureau at W. Hollywood Sheriff's Station.  From the time our kids were teenagers,  we played pinochle with great gourmet dinners monthly with 12 dear people.  We gals played bingo monthly until 2020 when Covid 10 shut us down.  Do you remember the time Roger and I ran into you and Nick on our Mediterranean Cruise?  We toured Barcelona together and Gaudi's still fabulous unfinished cathedral. Hi Papa, well needless to say it was quiet an emotional night for Diana on Friday night as our horse that we purchased "Fire in the Wind" who we claimed on the 1st anniversary of your passing won. As he was coming on down the stretch Diana could feel your presence willing the horse on. Your whole family misses you badly. But Gram's is doing well as I am sure you know as you always look over all of us. But just wanted to post the picture for you as I know you loved coming to support our horses and I will always appreciate it. Love Danny

Happy 85th Birthday. This is your first birthday since your passing. And a day doesn't go by that we don't think about you or talk to you. You are missed by so many and our still loved by many as well. I hope you are having fun celebrating your birthday in heaven with your family members and friends who have passed before you. Papa, we had our first holiday since your passing. It was very hard celebrating Easter without you, but I know you were with us in spirit. We all miss you dearly and still talk to you daily. Love your son in law Danny

God puts people into our lives for a reason. Uncle Nick you will be in our hearts forever. You were a true example of respect, loyalty, love, and faith in family and friends. May all the days ahead be filled with the Love of family and friends. Nick was an exceptional man. It was an honor to know him and he was a kind man. I will forever be thankful for the time he shared with my family in and out of the Elks, and the wonderful Valentine's he and Barbara put on. You will be missed....

God blesses us with people that can light up the room with just a twinkle of an eye or the raise of an eyebrow. Someone so special that without saying anything you can feel their loving, warm hug around you when they are not even there. Uncle Nick was one of those amazing people...he has blessed our family beyond words for so many years. You will be missed down here so very much, but we know you are having a party in heaven with all those that have gone before you. Thank you for showing us the way to live like The Lord- loving everyone, grace mercy openness and more fun than anyone can imagine. We love you!
