Dear the family of Lottie,

I am writing to express my deepest condolences to you and your family upon the loss of your beloved Lottie Juzba. I was fortunate enough to have known Lottie during my college years when she served as my supervisor, but she became much more than that. Lottie was like a second mother to me, and her presence in my life brought immense comfort and guidance.

Lottie's compassionate nature knew no bounds. She extended her warmth and love beyond her professional responsibilities, making herself available to chat with me on the telephone whenever I needed someone to talk to. Her genuine care and willingness to lend an ear were truly remarkable, and it made a profound impact on my life.

During my time with Lottie, I witnessed firsthand the immense love and dedication she had for her family. She often spoke fondly of her loved ones and shared stories that reflected the deep bond she shared with her family. Lottie's strength and support were not limited to the workplace, but were extended wholeheartedly to her family as well.

As you mourn the loss of such an extraordinary person, please know that your family is in the thoughts and prayers of many. The loss of Lottie is not only felt by those who knew her professionally, but by those whose lives she touched on a deeply personal level. Her impact was far-reaching, and the void left by her absence is profound.

During this difficult time, may you find solace in the memories you shared with Lottie and the love that she bestowed upon you. May her legacy of compassion, guidance, and unwavering love continue to inspire and guide you in the days to come. As you grieve, remember that you are not alone, and there are many who are here to offer their support, including myself.

Christine, Shannon, and Mike and your families, thank you so much for having us at your grandmother, Lottie’s beautiful service. As you know your grandmother was family to us and we will cherish all our memories with her from over 45 years.  Your eulogy was beautiful and very heartfelt; we echo many of your exact sentiments about her personality, sense of humor, and her funny habits.  She was an important part of our lives and helped our family when we came to the USA many years ago.  She was my mom, Jutta’s dearest friend and they were always there for each other until the very end. Like a Thelma and Louise! 😊 
A few fond memories I have of her is the way she used to answer the phone at her office at Northridge Hospital, she would say in a quiet low voice, “central supply” and then when you would call her at home she answered with the same exact voice “hello”.  That would always crack me up.  Catching huge frogs in her backyard when we were little and eating hotdogs, German potato salad, and of course Korbel champagne; sitting in the jacuzzi and diving off the diving board in her backyard.  
Also, when we would often joke with her, she would always have a response “you want a knuckle sandwich?” Lottie had an adorable laugh and we loved to make her crack up.
She was at our weddings, there when we had our babies, our Christmas, birthdays, just about every occasion that our families celebrated. She was feisty, funny, and just fabulous. Always dressed to the T as you said, even to go to the grocery store, pearl necklace and all.  She was adorable and sophisticated at the same time. 
We will truly miss her but know she is in such a better place with Michael and her two children.  Thank you for sharing your beautiful grandmother with our family.  We will never forget her. I posted a few pictures of some of our memories. :)
