Her parents owned Brown’s Auto Body. Growing up Lori was an all-star player in softball through parks and recreation. She participated in girl scouts as well. She was the first graduating class of all four years at Saugus High School. While in high school she worked at Burger King and later climbed the ladder to become a manager. After that she got a job at 21st Century, working as a claim adjuster. She worked there for 25 years. In 1983, Lori met the love of her life, Anthony Tohill. Together they had an amazing 36 years together filled with love, happiness, and joy. In February of 1999, together they had a daughter, Molly. Lori quit her job to become a full-time mom. In 2006, she became a Girl Scout leader for Molly’s troop. As a leader, she served the community and impacted the lives of many young girls. She then went on to obtain her real estate license. In order to be an inspiration to her daughter and further her education, Lori graduated with an associate’s degree from College of the Canyons in 2011. Throughout Molly’s childhood Lori threw herself into all of her activities. When Molly started dancing Lori became a dance mom. She would spend countless hours rhinestoning costumes for the studio, driving to rehearsals and competitions and was always there to give a pep talk. Not only was she always there for her daughter, she was a rock for her husband as well. She supported everything he did and made sure he was always taken care of. She was surrounded by her loving family at her home on Friday, May 17, 2019, when she lost her battle to a 10-month fight with cancer. Lori was a loving mother, wife, friend, aunt and sister. She always looked for the good in people and never shied anyway from a challenge. She lived life to the fullest with the biggest smile on her face. She will be missed tremendously.
