Lewis Edward Morrison, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2020 due to complications caused by Covid-19. He was born November 24th, 1938 in the state of Washington to Delaney Morrison and Fanny Mae Joyner. He married the love of his life, Linda Ann Perry on January 11th, 1974.
Lewis was an airplane mechanic in the United States Air Force. After serving, he became employed at Lockheed for over 20 years. While employed there he made a decision to become a part of law enforcement. He served many years at San Fernando police department Where he retired as a detective. During his law enforcement years he also worked at Monterey Park police department, as well as a short period of time as University of Southern California school police.
Lewis was a very stern, light hearted man who always made his family his priority. He enjoyed music, and played many instruments including acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano/keyboard, and saxophone. He also belonged in several bands. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles. He even built a car up from just a frame. Later in his life he fell in love with classic cars. He owned several and spent most of his time with his club members in the RODFATHERS.
Lewis is survived by his wife Linda Morrison, his daughters Deanna Morrison and Tonya Morrison. A stepson, Mike Lyon and stepdaughter Queenie Carter. 6 grandchildren (Devan Morrison, Daniel Milliken, Andre Johnson, Cheyenne Johnson, Asha Boyd and Ammon Johnson) He also has 3 great grandchildren that he adored. Aalani Morrison, Khalil Boyd and Jeremiah Johnson.
His parents (Delaney and Fanny) and siblings (Marie Aldridge, Cliff Morrison, Delaney Morrison Jr) preceded his death. His daughter Shauntina Marie Morrison also preceded his death by a mere 5 months.
Lewis is loved beyond words and will truly be missed by all that knew him.
