It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved father, Joseph Barbera. He passed away Friday morning after a short battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Joe was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 16, 1933. He married his high school sweetheart, Marian “Casey” in 1954. Joseph and Marian were married 48 years until her passing in 2002.
Joe was a passionate hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. He was the proud sole proprietorship of A.M. Barbera & Son Masonry Contractors. He assumed the business with the passing of his father in 1961. He was also Past Master of the Cahuenga Masonic Lodge in 1966.
Joe is survived by: Son, Angelo Michael (Natalie); Daughter, Keena Cathleen (David) ; Grandson, Sam Joseph; Granddaughter, Audrey Lucille; Sister, Isabelle Little as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Please join us for a celebration of his life and internment on Thursday, May 24th at Eternal Valley Memorial Park (Newhall). Service is at 10AM in the Hilltop Chapel.
