Josefina Del Carmen, better known by Carmensita was my sister-n-law, I met this lovely lady back in 1978, from the first day I met her I thought she was so sweet, classy and elegant, she is my two children Aunt whom now are 40 and 35,  I always tell my daughter Bridgette she has her aunt's Josefina, class, elegance and kindness.  I know it's a great loss to all the family, however we know she is with our Lord Jesus, and soon we will all unite with her and all our family again.  Fly high my sweet Carmensita, you will always live in our hearts until we see you again.  Love you always, La Maite as you used to call me.

I am so sad and still cant accept that you are gone Tia, I will always keep all the memories shared with you in the restaurant and holidays at my grandmas house close to my heart you where such a sweet and strong woman I always admire. 
We lost a great woman and heaven gained an incredible Angel!

The grief of hearing about our Tia's passing has been incredibly difficult and shocking, and I can only imagine what you all--my Tio and cousins--are going through. I'm so sorry and I wish I had the right words to say. I'm grateful for the relationship we had and the love we shared. I'll never forget visiting Tia Carmen and Tio Emilio on our family trips, and sharing pupusas, tamales, and so many stories and laughs. Those are some of the fondest of memories I've had growing up. I'm also grateful we got to spend some time together for our wedding in 2018 and I hate that time was taken away from us in the past couple of years. My Tia was always so good and loving to us, I'll never forget that--or her.  We love you guys very much. I knew her for a very long time in Lancaster at a restaurant that she was managing. She was like a mom to me she was such a great person with a big heart. I will definitely miss her a lot. This is not goodbye this is I will see you in our makers time love you.
