John Flesher was born February 14, 1916 in Niles, Ohio. He graduated from McKinley High School in 1934. John married Ann Russell and was married for 54 years until her passing in 1994. They have two children, Ron and Elaine, and 3 grandcildren Jeff, Chris, and Todd. John worked for Cadillac in Detroit, Michigan, starting out as a mechanic. Over the years, he was promotod to Service Advisor, then Service Manager, and finally was elevated to head of Warranty Claims, the position from which he retired after 38 years of service with the company. John enjoyed sports, being an excellent athlete. He participated in golf, basketball, and baseball. John was also an accomplished saxophone player, heading up a 13 piece band that he organized. Performing at various locations, the extra income enabled him to help out his family during the depression. John will be missed by his family and friends.
