John Lawrence Dagg

Private family only funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park with Father Olin of St. Clare of Assisi officiating.

John was born in Colorado Springs, CO, to John Patrick Dagg and Mary Hickey Dagg on September 5, 1958. He lived in a variety of places as his father was in the Air Force. He married Melissa (Fedele) Dagg on October 21, 1989 in Santa Clarita. He graduated from California State University Northridge with an engineering degree. John built a career with Southern California Gas Company where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 2016 as a Director.

John is preceded in death by his father John P. Dagg and mother-in-law Elsie Fedele.

John is survived by his wife Melissa, sons Alex and Scott, mother Mary, siblings Mike Dagg (Becky), Kathleen Weger (Richard), Elly Carleton (Pat), Bill Dagg (Marie), father-in-law Daniel Fedele, mother-in-law JoAnn Fedele, and brother-in-law Dan Fedele, and many nephews, nieces and extended family.

John will always be remembered for his love for his family and friends, his love of the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, camping, traveling and golf. In lieu of flowers, John’s family requests any donations please be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation, or similar non-profits.
