Janet Marie Gallego

She is survived by her husband Mike Gallego; her son(s) Wilbur Burritt, James Burritt & Michael Gallego & her daughter Priscilla Gallego; Her grandchildren Elizabeth, Diana, Nathan, Jacob, Kristian, Leilani, Nathan, Brianna & Andrew. Her sister(s) Sharon Heiser, Mary Schultz & her brother(s) Thomas Swindell, Darrel Mac Swindell & Ronald Swindell (Wife-Rhonda) and also numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her dad, mom, Brother Don and Brother Kenny.

Janet was born on November 20, 1950 in McKinney, Tx to John Taylor & Zelpha Leona Swindell. Janet married Mike Gallego on July 19,1987 after meeting him in the summer of 1984 while she was working at 7 Eleven in Palmdale, CA. Mike handed a lottery ticket with his phone number on it asked her if she likes to give a call. She called and from then on we called each other "Our Lottery Winners. She later started working for Accra Tronics as a glass seal assembler. Janet & Mike welcomed their new son Michael Gallego to their family on May 27, 1992 along with her sons Wilbur & James Burritt from her previous marriage and she lovingly welcomed her husband's daughter Priscilla Gallego from his previous marriage. Janet set about teaching them life skills. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, devoted and loving mother. She always encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Janet was accomplished at many skills and often did her own handy work & redecorating their home. She was a beautiful loving, thoughtful, generous, witty, dedicated individual who loved watching home makeover tv. shows to learn more on how to do her own handy work and who was passionate about taking care of her many plants. She remained involved in her children's lives still wanting nothing but the best for them.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00am on April 8, 2017 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary at 23287 N. Sierra Highway, Newhall, CA 91321 Pastor Roger Willis from Simi valley will officiate the service. A reception to follow after services.
