James Paul Sokolik

Jim was born in Portage, Ohio to Adolph and Ruth Sokolik on May 23, 1944. As a young child his family moved to Southern California. At the age of 18 Jim graduated from Granada Hills High School. Jim worked most of his adult life as a machinist in the Aerospace Industry.

Jim's hobbies: Fishing, firearm marksmanship, working/restoring cars. Avid baseball fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers. His college football team was the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved spending quality time with his family.

Jim was widowed and is survived by kids Lonna, James, Debbie, Erika, Dorene, Paul and four grandchildren Ara, Arek, Alex, and Emily. His siblings Carl, Vickie, Dennis, and Sara.

Services will be held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Santa Clarita CA, address 23287 Sierra Hwy, Newhall, CA, 91321 October 18th at 10:00 a.m.
