Glenda Lynn Bennett

Survived by her husband of 63 years, Larry Wayne Bennett. Their 3 Children and Spouses: Daniel & Denise Bennett, Holly & Mike Scallon, Curtis & Crystal Bennett. Grandchildren and Spouses: Blake & Lindsey, Korey Travis & Sara, Riley Megann & Nathan Michael, Brianna & Naz, Gage, Nolan & Keith. Great Grandchildren: Kylie, Kash, Aksel, Dallas, Rayne, & Weston.

Mom had a deep devotion to the Lord, my father and all her family. She was the root of us all. The most loving, giving and loyal; Wife, Mom, Nana, Great Nana, and Friend. She had so much pride of her houses she turned into homes through her unbelievable talent for decoration and gardening. Through her parents, from a young age, Mom loved camping, fishing, and traveling. Which she later introduced to our father on May 6th, 1961, which began their journey together of 64 years. Building a life of love, family and many adventures; camping, travel, skiing, car club trips and of course playing the slots and cards with family and friends. Any moment they could, Mom and Dad would be at the river surrounded by family and friends.

There could never be enough time or paper to sum up what a beautiful lady she was inside and out. She was our root, our pillar of strength, with the strongest will and desire for family unity. Even during illness she was selfless, worrying only of the well being of our father and family. She and our father blessed us all, leaving us with so many wonderful memories to cherish and pass down. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed.
