It is with a heavy heart that we share Donna Sue Russell Dulak peacefully moved on from our physical world with family by her side helping her transition to the next life. She passed away on Friday Aug 09, 2024 after beating cancer but succumbing to side effects of cancer therapy. She was an unbelievable warrior all the way to her last breath never giving up and continuing to inspire us. This was Donna's personality and the way she lived her life without fear and deep love for those in her life. Despite being widowed at the age of 29, she still conquered all dimensions of her life.
She leaves behind an amazing legacy as a selfless mother, phenomenal Oma aka "grandma", successful businesswoman, and philanthropist. She took great pride counseling widows of fallen officers and was a great friend of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. In the final aspect of her life, she enjoyed retirement full throttle with friends as she did with anything she committed to.
She is survived by her children: her son Gary Russell Dulak and her daughter Kirsten Hope Fick. Her grandchildren John Edward Dulak, Sara Jane Dulak, Hayden Robert Fick, and Kira Hope Fick.
We are heartbroken but grateful for the time we had with her. As the family is working through the deep loss, we would greatly appreciate if you left a Memory in the link below. Fond memories and your prayers are extremely helpful for our healing.
Services will held August 27th at 10:00 am at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary in the Chapel of the Oaks. If you are interested attending her funeral services, please e-mail us at [email protected].
