Born and raised in Chatsworth, Don’s family moved to Agua Dulce when he and his twin brother were teenagers and graduated from Palmdale High School. Don was a very talented finish carpenter who took
pride in his work.
He loved being with his family especially when his grandchildren came to visit. Don, lovingly known as “Zombie” enjoyed playing poker, singing karaoke (he was a great singer!) and hanging with many, many friends from the VFW Post 6885.
Don is survived by his mother, Bobbie Reilley, his children, Shawn (Chelsie) Jenkins, Kristyn (Saul) Sosa and Connor Jenkins, his grandchildren, Logan, Bristol, Kennedy and Emerson Jenkins, Lucas, Samuel and Oliver Sosa; his sisters, Joyce (Dennis) Smith and Lorrie (Joe) Cox, his twin brother, Dan (Marisol) Jenkins, numerous nieces and nephews, and his loving Blue Heeler, Gypsy. Don is preceded in death by his father, Ralph and his brothers Al and Bob Jenkins.
A service will be held at Eternal Valley/The Oaks Venue on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10am with graveside service immediately following at 11am with his Celebration of life at noon at the VFW Post 6885
