Denise A. Allen, 51, of West Hills, CA passed away December 30, 2015 due to medical complications. She was born in Mankato, MN and moved to California in 1978. The Minnesota Vikings were her favorite football team and the Lakers were her favorite basketball team. Throughout the years, her travels took her to Minnesota numerous times, as well as to Hawaii, Mexico, Alaska, Denver, Puerto Rico, and, most recently, Niagara Falls. She loved her cats Kalie, Rooney and BJ, and was always searching for the perfect toy for them. Denise is preceded in death by her father, Eugene R. Allen. She is survived by her mother, Mae L. Allen; sisters Cynthia K. Austin and Susan Freeberg; cousin Loren L. Lundgren; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew; as well as by her long-time partner, Leslie Frankel. A private Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 10th.
