He was born to Lorraine Hunter and Kim Hunter on March 20, 1972, in Duarte, California. Carl attended Mojave Valley High School. He married the love of his life Lori Hunter in 2002. They settled in San Pedro for a few years then moved to Santa Clarita in 2004 to raise their family.
Carl was a stagehand for Local 33 for the past 12 years. He spent any and all free time enjoying the presence of his children and loved ones. He was a passionate Raider fan, whenever there was a game on he was there to watch it. Many would remember him as the sports fanatic at all of his kid's baseball, football, soccer, and dance events. Carl's love for his kids was indescribable. He treated all of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own too, always supporting and loving them. His laugh, smile, and joking manner could light up a room in seconds.
Carl was survived by his 3 children, Alex, Emily, and Aubrey; his parents, Lorraine Hunter and Kim Hunter; his brothers Brian, Chad, Jeremy, Jimmy, Scotty and Gerald; two sisters-in-law, Debbie and Diane; Lori’s parents, Butch and Debbie Conroy; Lori’s sister’s Cindee, April, and Deborah; his eleven nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Carl Hunter's journey continues now as he reunited with his wife Lori in heaven, where they will always be smiling and watching over their children.
Memorial service will be at NorthPark Community Church; on Monday, April 6, 2015, at 12 pm. Celebration of Life and the sharing of memories will follow at the Rappleye home.
