Bobbie J Hall

Bobbie Jo Hall, 84, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on March 5, 2023, at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada due to health complications. She was born on January 14, 1939, to John Henry Jones, Sr. and Willa Bell Lee. Willa Bell later married Charles McCarther who was stepfather to Bobbie Jo. As a young woman, Bobbie Jo went on tour to Cuba with members of her family who sang gospel music. While on tour in Cuba, Bobbie Jo met Vincente Foster. They were married and relocated to New York City. They had two children. She later was remarried to Robert J. Hall. She had two more children.

Bobbie Jo Hall was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Hall, sister, Dorothy D. Campbell, brothers, John Henry Jones, Jr. and William E. Jones, sisters, Gladys Yvonne and Mary Yvette Jones-McCarther, and sister, Vernadell M. McCarther.

Bobbie Jo Hall is survived by her sister, Patricia Eleece Thomas, her sons, Rodney (Cathy) E. Foster, Gerald (Claudia) L. Foster, Leland J. Hall, daughter, Latanya D. Hall, grandchildren, Rodney E. Foster II, Kijuan A. Foster, Felicia N. Foster, Laprell Nelson, Jheri E. Foster, Ethan Danielson, Keijuana Cooks, Keionte D. Reese, Darryen K. Hall, Daqwayne K. Hall, Demaje K. Hall and her four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary, 23287 Sierra Hwy, New Hall, CA, 91321. The final resting place will be Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
