Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at The Oaks, Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Saint Clare Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Eternal Valley Memorial Park.
Barbara was born in Los Angeles to S. Russell and Beatrice Apperson on November 28, 1931. She went to school in Santa Monica and graduated from St. Monica’s High School in 1949. She married Robert J. Landis on August 9, 1952 in Hollywood. She worked in various positions for the Los Angeles Unified School District during her 21 year career. After they retired, Barbara and husband, Bob, had many happy years traveling the U.S. in there 5th wheel trailer. Their love of Lake Tahoe always brought them home to their cabin located by the Lake. Grandma Barbara enjoyed floating in the lake during the day and gambling during the night, and Grandpa Bob was always by her side.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and parents, S. Russell and Beatrice Apperson.
Barbara is survived by her four children: Susan (John) Klein, Tim (Mary) Landis, Linda (Todd) Willard, Tom Landis, her brothers: Roger and Michael Apperson, five grandchildren: Shiloh (Chris) Seddon, Casey (Jenna) Klein, Tiffany (Josh) Koscienly, Michael Landis, Jason (Mallory) Klein and seven great-grandchildren.
