William Daniel Donofrio

William “Dan” Donofrio of Newburgh, IN passed away November 6, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born October 12, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Nicholas John and Mildred Darlene (Watson) Donofrio. Dan graduated from Tipton High School (1967) and Indiana State University (1971) with a degree in Radio and Broadcasting. He was a member and secretary of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Dan owned an advertising agency, was a producer/writer in advertising, a published author, a teacher, a coach and went back to school late in life to become a Registered Nurse. Dan enjoyed watching sports, coaching basketball and football at Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana, as well as, a proud football fan of The Ohio State University and the University of Notre Dame. His passions were Friday date nights with wife Brenda, spending time with his pets and enjoyed filming family events. Dan is survived by Brenda (Webber) Donofrio, his loving wife of 53 years; his three beautiful daughters, Ellen Donofrio, Gina Neel (Drew), and Christina “Nikki” Donofrio. Most proudly his grandchildren, Sifong, Sol, Siana, Danielle, Salea, Dylan and Matteo. Per Dan's wishes, a private (family) prayer service will be held November 19, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
