Stephen Jones, 65, of Newburgh, IN passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born in Madisonville, KY on January 7, 1954 to Ernest Jones, Jr. and Patricia Jones.

He worked as a caregiver in nursing homes for many years.

Steve is survived by his wife of 12 years, Denise; sons, Derek (Mirka) of Manitowoc, WI, Kristopher (Alex) of Newburgh; stepchildren, Ashley Speer (Adam) of Grovetown, GA, Jessica Perry (Jared) of Petersburg, IN, Jonathon Mosby (Sarah) of Morton, IL, Kody Mosby, Julie Rizen (Ryan) both of Newburgh, IN, Emily Phillips (Matt), Michelle Plocik (Adam) both of Evansville, IN; mother, Patricia Ann Rhoades; sister, Sandra Hartz (Dennis) both of Boonville, IN; 16 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Baum. Friends may visit 2:00 p.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
