She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Elm Grove, WV and a lifelong member of the Wheeling Chapter of the Eastern Star. She loved to travel and go out to dinner. Her hobbies were drawing, crossword and picture puzzles, swimming, horseback riding, knitting and bridge. Her greatest love was her family and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Stauffer in 1994, and siblings, Maryann Turner and Buzz Klein.
She is survived by her daughter, Judith A. Moore (Christopher); grandchildren, Stephen J. Moore and Nicole E. Moore-Denk (Ryan Denk), and seven great-grandchildren, Tian, Judah, Luke, Samantha, Sophia, Iris and Thomas.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Wheeling, WV.
