Robin impacted many lives through her work at Evansville Cancer Center where she was instrumental in both educating others about early cancer detection and aiding others through their own battles with cancer. Robin’s service to the community was nationally recognized with the awarding of the Gold Triangle Award given by the American Academy of Dermatology for three consecutive years. This year, Robin was awarded "Excellence in Community Service" by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Robin was an avid gardener, artist, and adored all aspects of nature. Robin divided her time among several hobbies; raising monarch butterflies, tending to her garden, and creating art from the views she enjoyed in her back yard, lovingly known as The Robin's Nest.
Robin is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lawrence. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Kori Grauer; her siblings, Bob (Cindy) Lawrence, Lukie (Larry) Daniels, Connie (Jeffrey) Roberts, Donna Beverly, Tim (Terrye) Bosecker; and many nieces and nephews.
Robin lived a vibrant life filled with love that could be felt by all who knew her.
Please take the time to plant milkweed so even in her absence she can be a part of the effort to save, protect, and preserve the monarch population.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261.
