Robert John Hagmann

Robert was born April 20, 1947 in Milwaukee, WI. He earned a Master’s degree from Indiana State University.

Bob taught Automotive Technology at Castle High School for 40 years, retiring in 2009. He coached baseball as the freshman head coach with the Knights from 1993-2006. He remained active as a part of Castle Athletics, running chain gang at football games, keeping book/clock at basketball games, and driving the bus for various sports.

Bob enjoyed playing golf, and played almost every day at Boonville Country Club. A man of great faith, Bob attended First Christian Church in Newburgh.

Bob is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christy; their two sons, John and his wife, LeAnn, and Brandon and his wife, Dana; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Alexander. Bob is also survived by a brother, Tony, and his wife, Elise, and a niece, Sarah.

Services will be 10 AM, Friday, December 30, 2011, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Brad Ferris with burial at Dale Cemetery in Dale, IN. Friends may visit Thursday, 3-8 PM at the funeral home.
