Marilee Garrison, 91, of Newburgh, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at her daughter’s home. She was born on July 20, 1932, in Evansville, Indiana to David L. and Estelle (Kaltofen) Watson.
Marilee retired from the Evansville Vanderburgh Central Public Library where she was a librarian over 60 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Newburgh American Legion and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Indianapolis Colts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Garrison (2008); and her parents.
Marilee is survived by her daughter, Susan Hilgeman (Andrew); grandchildren, Lance Weigman, Andrea Hoskins (Jake), and Collin Hilgeman; and great grandson, Wesley.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Holly Hardsaw, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
