Heather R. (Garrett) Vandiver

Heather Renee (Garrett) Vandiver, 42, went to her heavenly home on Friday, May 5, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 13, 1981 to Dan and Marti Garrett in Evansville. She later married Justin C. Vandiver of Newburgh and together they loved and enjoyed their 3 children, Addisyn Renee, Landon Jeffrey and Raegan Kate Vandiver. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Heather had a career in nursing at St. Vincent Hospital for 25 years. She was an avid long distance runner. Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Riggs, and Justin's grandparents, Mr. Lewis Vandiver and Mrs. Marilyn Prados. She is also survived by her sister, Kendra (Garrett) Rorabaugh (Tom) of South Carolina; grandparents, Shannon and Shirley Garrett; in-laws, Jeff and Nancy Vandiver; brothers-in-law, Jason Vandiver (Angie, and nephew, Dalen) and Nathan Vandiver, and aunts, uncles and cousins. A Funeral Service will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Christian Fellowship Church, Evansville, Indiana, officiated by Pastor Dale Beaver, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
