Doris J. Russell

Doris J. Russell, 82, of Newburgh, IN passed away Monday, August 13, 2018, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born in Evansville, IN on September 2, 1935 to the late Soloman and Matilda Smith. She was of the Baptist faith, retired from Zenith in 1987 after 28 years, and enjoyed traveling. Doris was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Russell; and great-grandson, William Deitz. Doris is survived by sons, Alan Russell (Cindy) of Evansville, Michael Russell of Boonville; daughters, Kim Deitz (Edgar) of Newburgh, Shannon Beabout (Barry) of Boonville; grandchildren, Kaci Miller (Timothy), Meredith Russell, Michael Deitz (Brittany), Jessica Hopper (Brandon), Justin Russell, Daniel Beabout (Lauren), Samuel Beabout; great-grandchildren, Rhett Miller, Eva Duvall, Ruby Miller, Eli Deitz, Jase Deitz, and sisters, Peggy Bohleber and Carolyn Remfry. The family would like to thank Deaconess B tower 6th floor and Linda E. White Hospice House for the loving care they gave Doris. A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2018, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel with burial in Tabor Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House.
