

Tony was known for his faith, his huge heart, his sense of humor, his integrity and his great love for his entire family, most especially his love for his wife and three children.
Tony was born in Chicago, IL, on June 15, 1962, to William V. Pape (deceased) and Mary Ann (Fundarek) Pape of Melrose Park, IL. His brother, William (Bill) Pape is deceased.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Leslie (Johnson) Pape; their two sons, Nick and Eric; their daughter, Gabriella; his sister, Andrea Castellan, her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Arianna.
Tony grew up in Chicago, IL, and received a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a MBA in Finance/Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He had a career in the commercial vehicle industry that spanned 27 years, most recently as Director/Aftermarket Strategy & Sales at Accuride Corporation. During his career at Accuride, he led the company’s Distributor Advisory Council and served as a past member of the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network board of directors. Tony also had represented Accuride on the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s Marketing and Sales Forum.
Visitation will be Friday, August 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Alexander Newburgh Chapel on State Road 261 in Newburgh. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, at First Christian Church of Newburgh, also on State Road 261.
There also will be services for him in the Chicago area. The visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Rago Brothers Funeral Home on West Irving Park Road in Chicago. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at St. Luke Parish on Lathrop Avenue in River Forest, IL.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the kids' college fund. Checks should be made out to the "Tony Pape Memorial Fund," 5th/3rd Bank, P.O. Box 762, Newburgh, IN 47629.
