Anthony Paul Barthel II

Anthony Paul Barthel, II, 22, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, in San Bernardino, CA. He was born January 7, 1994, in Evansville, IN, to Anthony Paul Barthel, Sr. and Donna Bennett-Barthel.

He was formerly lead guitarist for the Christian band, Mission 6. As a child, Anthony enjoyed karate and tennis. He loved listening to music.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his adoptive mother, Kimberly Barthel Marquis (Mark); siblings, Kevin Bennett (DeAnna), Derek Bennett, Heath Bennett, Breann Barthel, Lia Barthel, Lily Barthel, Travis King (Jasmine), Molly King, Cindy Ford (Nathan), Jennifer Lewis; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2016, at New Beginnings Church officiated by Pastors Derek Hayden and Doug Horner with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 12:00 PM until service time on Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Anthony Barthel, II Memorial Fund.
