As we decorated our Christmas tree this year, we searched for a cherished ornament: a yellow car that Tom gave my son Kyler when we were neighbors on 92nd St. Kyler was a little boy. He is now almost 18. We tried to reach Tom, but could not..... Tom  was a great neighbor and friend. We have talked many times when he called to catch up after we moved. Late, but sincere condolences to all who loved and cherished him. He is in my best memories.

Mr. Fahey working with you for six years made me realize alot about life and i thank you for that. I may say I will always remember your bright blue eyes and your funny stories. It was a pleasure knowing you Tom. God Bless you & rest in Peace!

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.  I have very fond memories of Mr. Fahey from when we would spend summers in rockaway.  He always was full of life and laughter.  He also showered us with fun toys!  He was a great friend to my grandparents and my aunt.  I know they are having one big party up there now.  My deepest condolences.

Sometimes when I was out walking and shopping in the neighborhood,  I would bump into Mr. Fahey, also out and about doing the same thing.  I always got a big hello, and a kiss on both cheeks, and of course a compliment or two...it was always an uplifting encounter for me, for him, it was HOW HE LIVED HIS LIFE....gracious, friendly and supportive.  Sometimes, we would exchange a peice of neighborhood news, or history, and I started thinking of him as a YORKVILLE OFFICIAL.  We would depart, and I would go my way and he his, and no matter how hard his journey or how painful his gait, he never complained, never mentioned any difficulty with his task...he just did it...and with a smile.  I'm going to miss those moments.....Thank you Mr. Fahey, for your kindness and humor...and I'm going to miss my Two Kisses.

Mr. Fahey it was a pleasure to know you and to share in the celebration with your family last year.
It was really great when you were sharing your WW II photographs with my wife and me. We could see the pride you had for the opportunity to serve your country and I want to thank you for the sacrifices you've made during your service to our country. I know that you will surely be missed.

What a wonderful man! He was a rock, the go to guy, with a heart of gold! He  was the definition of a true gentleman in every sense of the word! I will miss his stories, smile, laugh, kit-kats and hat!.  How lucky we were to have him in our lives.  And I even believed him when he said I was the prettiest, but then again I guess we all did!
