Theresa "Terri" A. Moran (nee Killion), passed away peacefully on November 18 with her loving family beside her. Born in 1937 in New York City, she was the daughter of Margaret and Robert Killion. She earned her PhD from Columbia University and taught at colleges and universities in both Chicago and New York. She was passionate about cancer research and animal welfare and supported many of these worthwhile efforts. Beloved wife of 66 years to William "Buzz" A. Moran. Loving mother of Buddy (Debbie), Michael (Brigette), Chris (Kathie) and Teddy (Gabrielle) and her 5th daughter-in-law, Trish. Proud and devoted grandmother to Lindsey, Meredith, Caitlin, Michael, Colleen, Patrick, Katie, Kristen, Kelly, Billy, Melissa, Sage and Grace. She was preceded by her parents, and her siblings Bob, Sis and Matt. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home in New York City on November 28 between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on November 29 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in New York City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering and/or Puppies Behind Bars.
