On May 18th, 2021 Sharon A. Fisher passed away. Sharon was a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Born in New York , raised in New York and New Jersey, she spent the best years of her life in the city she loved, Manhattan. Born August 28th 1948, she was the youngest of two daughters of Nathan and Lillian Fisher.
Sharon had an infectious personality and a big heart for all those around her. She made the effort that few would to connect with an extended network of people, friends and family, passing on stories, supporting aspirations and always offering help to those around her. While she didn't have any children of her own, she cared deeply for her sisters' children, Daniel and David Jacobs and her grand niece Chloe.
Sharon, made a great life for herself, had a career which was balanced against her dream of being an actress. She embraced her coworkers and her fellow actors as one in the same. Always the student, Sharon put her all into her work, research and understanding.
Sharon was never afraid to try, and was always willing to speak her mind, sharing wisdom and perspective with everyone she knew. But what she loved the most, was those personal moments, a call, an email or a meal with her loved ones.
Today we say goodbye to our grandparent's daughter, our mother's sister, our aunt and Chloe's grand aunt. We wish her and her soul a peaceful and restful one, well deserved and not without sadness for the loss and void she will leave behind.
