I was shocked to learn that actress Sandy Rosenberg has passed away. I live in Brazil and I remember very well her participation in the series “Mr. Merlin" from 1981 in the episode "The Ache". She represented a girl who was ignored by the protagonist, but who was actually a very good person who in the end is recognized. This episode marked me a lot and I can see from the condolences written here that she was very similar in her personal life to the character. Rest in peace.

Sandy was my “rabbit” buddy.  I helped her adopt her first rabbit “Thriller” and I bunny sat for him and all the rabbits that followed him when she went on tour.  We had hours of fun staging our own rabbit shows.   She will be sorely missed.

Sandy was my cousin, Sid’s wife and she was a wonderful family member. She was always so warm and loving to us all. I remember when she bought my young daughter a beautiful handbag that was in the shape and color of a West Highland Terrier- to resemble the dog we had! It was so thoughtful of her.  She will be missed as she was loved very much by us!

Oh my gosh!  I just heard now and am so saddened.  I had the absolute best time with Sandy doing "The Music Man" at Riverside Theatre.  She was so wonderful to me and always made sure to include the mom with her kid :)  One of my favorite memories is going with her and my then very young son to the fair.  She played one of the carnival games and won a little blue dog that she gave to my son.  He is now 11 and STILL has that little dog!!!  Love you Sandy!!

I think it may have been 1976 when we were at Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island that I first met Sandy... And we had a ball...Then I moved to NY, and that led to some really good times

Though I have not seen Sandy since high school where we were in a variety of shows together I find myself in deep sorrow at the news of her passing.  My condolences to her family and all those who knew and loved her.

It was an honor and a privilege to represent Sandy for many years.  She was always a joy to work with. She will be remembered for her amazing talent, and her dedication, she gave her utmost to every role she ever played. But more than her work, I will remember her kind and loving spirit. She made everyone around her's life a little brighter for knowing her. 

P.S. I will miss her terrible and her wonderful rugelach and hysterical holiday cards every year.
