To Richard's family, friends, and all that knew him:
During the pandemic many of us (being closeted) started to reach out to those in our past.  I am heartbroken to learn of Rich's passing!  And it is my own fault I did not reach out sooner!  Richard was a lovely, gentle soul, who I loved, with his and my idiosyncrasies blending together in our early Juilliard days ('65 to '70) and many early bands, applying our music to popular instruments, with Richard's Vox Jaguar 2-keyboard organ at his parents' house.  He helped me expand out of the strictly classical box, and I also knew him from Horace Mann!  We had so much in common, even the same name, musical exploits with HM and Juilliard friends, impromptu parties at our parents' houses (I grew up in Teaneck, and him Tenafly) - I really, really grieve to learn this news.   I am sorry to his family, that I didn't brighten his life more recently, because it would have been delightful!  I will look for old photos and return here to post, if I can find them.  Bless him and all souls who are as good and gentle as he!!
