Peter Richard Mason

Peter Richard Mason died on July 8th, his 84th birthday. Peter’s clever wit made our lives more joyful. He was an educator par excellence, the mentor of mentors and co-founder of Humanities Prep H.S. Peter Enriched our lives with his encyclopedic knowledge of baseball, music, especially opera, old movies and history.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Eleanor, brother Marc, children Katherine (Andy) and Jonathan and his grandchildren, Eric and Jenny.

He was the best pet parent to Steffie, Dash and Sophierose.

Services will be on Thursday, July 13th at 10 AM at the Riverside Chapel located at Amsterdam Ave. and West 76th St.
