He is survived by Beverly (aka Goldie), his devoted wife of 34 years and his loving brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Lori Dver; nephews Daniel and his wife Blair, and Josh and his fiancée, Blair.
He is also considered a true Brother by Beverly’s sister, Joyce Hinkle and her fiancé Allen Heil; and Beverly’s brother and sister-in-law, Marc & Eileen Gold.
PAUL is also Uncle to Eric & Paulina Robb, and their son Tyler; Alan & Laura Robb; and Dahlia, Darci, Sadie & Tess Gold.
There are many cousins and Aunts & Uncles on both sides who loved, and will miss Paul.
He was very fortunate to have had very loving parents, Harvey & Rhoda Dver. After Harvey’s death, Rhoda remarried Edwin Guinsburg, who loved Paul as his own son. They have all predeceased Paul.
After graduating from the N.Y. Acting Academy with an Assoc Degree in Theatre, and studying with actress Barbara Loden, PAUL spent his entire life working in the entertainment industry. He was a creative, talented actor, musician, writer and composer - who also studied with Lehman Engle in the original BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.
Through the years he collaborated with various writing partners, including Anthony Newley, Sammy Cahn, Drey Shepperd and Bob Wortman.
He wrote special material for various artists, including Beverly (Goldie Dver), who felt blessed to have his collaboration in her various Cabaret Shows through the years.
For many years he performed with Soupy Sales - playing piano and writing special material for Soupy’s one-man show. And later, creating and producing Soupy’s Video Vault. PAUL also wrote the theme song for the nationally syndicated The New Soupy Sales Show in 1979, which is still airing daily on JLTV.
At various times through the years, PAUL wore the hat of radio producer and on air talent for Soupy Sales, Joey Reynolds, and Mark Simone, on WNBC, WNEW, WMCA, WABC, and WOR Radio.
PAUL’S passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of his wife, Beverly, and all those who have known and loved him.
