Morris Eisen

Passed away peacefully, after a very brief illness, on Feb. 19, in Miami, FL.

Beloved husband of Caryl Ellis, from 1999 to the present, and Roberta Eisen, from 1955 until her passing in 1993. Devoted father to Felicia & Perry Weitz, Debbi & Peter Landau, and Richard & Jara Eisen. Stepfather to Gregory and Francine Ellis and Peter and Ciri Ellis. Loving Grandfather to Justin and Lauren Weitz, Lauren and Joel Abelson, David and Jeriel Weitz, Remi and James Landau and Dylan and Charli Eisen, and his 3 step grandchildren Ariel, Ashton, and Sia Ellis. And, cherished Great Grandfather to 6.

Murray, as he has always been known, was born in the Bronx, NY, on Oct. 8, 1932. He attended Stuyvesant High School, in NY, New York University, and New York University Law School.

Murray was a prominent attorney in New York City, throughout his career.

He split his time between New York City, and Fisher Island in Miami Beach, FL.

Murray was a longstanding member of Engineers Country Club, in Roslyn Harbor, NY, South Fork Country Club, in Amagansett,

NY, La Gorce Country Club, in Miami Beach, FL., and Fisher Island Club, in Miami Beach, FL.

Murray was an avid fisherman, foodie, and golfer, winning many golf tournaments up until his passing. He lived each day to the fullest. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral will be on Thur., Feb. 23, at 10:00am at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 76th St., and Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY.

Interment will be following services, at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave., West Babylon, NY.

Shiva will be at The Harmonie Club, 4 E. 60th St. Thur., following the interment, until 8:00pm and Fri., Feb. 24, from Noon until 4:00pm

Memorial Service to be held at Fisher Island at a future date.
