My sympathies to the entire Khan family.   So sorry for your loss.

 Ismail was one of the brightest and warmest people I have ever met.  Our conversations over the years were always stimulating and informative.  He was open to everybody.  I always felt welcome in his and Fern's home.

My heart goes out to the Khan's family. Will always cherish the time I got to spend with him and the laughter we shared in our gatherings. Uncle Ismail (as I got to know him) and I shared stories from the first time we met at his house for Thanksgiving dinner. He cooked a Pakistani dish and that was the starter of a beautiful conversation and a cherished friendship with the Khan family. He was quite the storyteller and lured people in with his wisdom, sense of humor and his love to "the other" making everyone feel like family. He had a soul that will continue to shine its light for generations to come. He was blessed with a beautiful family and I was blessed to have got to know them as my second family. With much love to all.
