We give you all our deepest sympathy on your loss of husband, father, and grandfather -- with profound appreciation for the tremendous gift you have given as caretakers for Marty, with you, Kazuyo, bearing the burden of being the prime, on-site caregiver. We know how much Marty loved and was proud of you all.
 
We have been always profoundly grateful for the gift of friendship with Marty, whose father's friendship with our (Joe's) dear Uncle Ralph in Reading, Pa., was the linkage that got us to know and to love you all. 

Marty was always generous sharing his love of the world of classical music with us, right down to making sure with excitement that we had tickets for some truly memorable and historic NY Philharmonic concerts toward the end of Leonard Bernstein's career. That kind of gift of music is one that lingers for a lifetime.
