Margaret Healy Bay returned home to God on November 11 after a brief illness. Margaret was born in New York City on February 17, 1951. She graduated from Trocaire College in Buffalo and spent her nursing career at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Margaret shifted her career to real estate and spent the last 16 years at Brown, Harris, Stevens. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas G. Healy and Bea (Tomeo) Healy. Margaret is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Fitzgerald, her niece, Marianne Belica (Michael) Margaret is a devoted aunt to Michael, Ally and Jessica who will always remember their Mimi. When Margaret was not celebrating milestone events and holidays in Chicago, she enjoyed the company of DeVito, Hoefling, Tomeo cousins. One of her greatest joys was building a base of genealogy from her Irish and Italian roots. Her friendships spanned many decades; she maintained ties with friends from childhood, college and her career in nursing and real estate. Many were blessed to call her “friend” Margaret will be remembered for her endearing smile, her generous spirit and willingness to help family, friends, colleagues and clients. Visitation Tuesday, November 16 9am at Frank E. Campbell. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at the Church of St. Ignatius.
