I am so sad to hear this news. I met Kevin last year when he came to UK to see the Superyou workshop. We became good friends and chatted weekly on Watsapp about his love of West Ham United. The messages suddenly stopped, I now know why. He was a producer of Superyou. Tomorrow night my family are going to London to see the Superyou concert. My granddaughter Aaliyah is playing Young Katie. Lightening Girl. I was hoping to see Kevin there, I know he will be in spirit and he will be in our thoughts.  RIP dear friend . Hey Kish Family, my deepest condolences for the loss of Kevin.

Kevin joined us for several University Glee Club rehearsals and then ultimately became and Associate Member. I can distinctly picture his face, wrapped in a gigantic smile as he let the music wash over him. His level of appreciation for the craft (even when were very much a work-in-progress!) always brightened the room. He was a light, and will be missed.

I met Kev in 1976 when I moved to London. Douger (Poling), Kev and I had lots of adventures and misadventures together then and over the years. There is a rumor that I threw up on Kev after a night of partying. I deny this vehemently. 
   Kev, we all know, was an extraordinary guy. A chef (shared the best cheesecake recipe ever), then a Ph.D. in physics, then wall street. Really, who does that?! I so respect his talent and his positive, brave, creative, unassuming, approach to living. 
   But maybe most of all, Kev's big heart and countless warm relationships amaze me (introvert). I know it's pointless but I just wish he could have been around longer. Peace, everyone.

Kevin was a light who we adored. We loved being around him for his quirky humor, his crazy stories, his warm and generous heart, his big smile, and his unwavering positivity and belief in us and our show, SuperYou. Our hearts are absolutely shattered over his transitioning. We also know that his light will continue to shine through every audience member that claps, every person who believes as he believed, and every note of music that is written, sung & shared (as he always shared, with everyone). Only a year ago Kevin & Lulu were here in London with us for auditions at The Arts Theatre, where we were again just yesterday rehearsing, and remembering Kevin’s pure joy & delight to be a part of any journey we were on and to share that with Lulu.

Kevin had his piano outfitted to play all kinds of music. He’d play Johny Mathis to James Taylor to classical. My absolute favorite piece is Claude Debussy’s Clair de Lune and I would ask him, specifically as the sun was about to set, to play that for me. My poor brother; I live a few blocks from his apt. and when I stopped by, I’d frantically say, “Quick! Kevin! Put on Clair de Lune before I miss the sunset!” And no matter what he was doing, he’d stop everything, and do exactly that. ❤️💔

Kevin came from another time and place; I am thinking of mom and dad in the late ‘50’s/early ‘60’s as reflected in this photo. He placed so much trust and faith in others’ to be truthful and honorable; an amicable face-to-face conversation and handshake were all he needed to believe in you. He loved Coronado so much; it was his dream to live there as he had once visited on a business trip in his early 20’s. He achieved that dream; and he loved the Navy Seal base that was situated there, but he absolutely loved the Coronado local library, it was built in 1900 but visually reflected the decor and vibe of the early 1960’s. One of the first places he brought me when I went with him to Coronado was that very library ❤️💔

I have so many memories of Kevin ❤️ One that stands out as a kid in the early 80’s.. he’d drive up from Philly, come to our Dad’s house in NJ, and take me for a long drive in the summer evening to an ice cream barn that was part of a working dairy farm! He would order us our favorite flavor at the time, a double scoop of homemade chocolate peanut butter on a cone, back in those days the scoops were the size of grapefruits! and we would struggle to finish the cones as we stood next to his vintage 1970’s white Pontiac, the soft glow of the barn’s lights highlighting the energetic dance of summer insects. We’d listen to Van Morrison on a cassette tape as he drove, the windows down. ❤️💔

This past June, on a warm, sunny afternoon, I met Kevin in CT and we had a wonderful time walking around the town. The first stop on the walk was to have his usual: a cortado! at a local, eclectic coffee shop, filled with decorations of a time gone by: vinyl records, books, vintage toys, posters of bands no longer current. We ended the afternoon stopping by the public library, one of Kevin’s favorite types of haunt no matter where he was, and where he searched for his favorite author, John Cheever; flipping through the pages, he’d tell me, “Kristan, you have to read his writing, he’s the best writer!” The library had a gallery filled with paintings by local women artists, and he and I wandered the gallery. He would stop by each painting, enjoying being surrounded by art. It was such a great afternoon together that I would often tell Kevin, “Hey, let’s do that again sometime this Fall.” ❤️💔

Prayers and condolences to Lu and the Kish family.  I had the pleasure of spending time with Kevin and family in Vermont a couple years ago.  I will always cherish those memories.

Kevin was the first friend I made after I moved to the London area in 1972 when I was twelve.  We remained close friends ever since.  There are precious few people in my life with whom I have had a relationship of complete transparency, knowing that I could share all of the good, bad and indifferent that constitutes your life and how you have lived it, because the person you are sharing it with will continue to love you, support you and be your friend regardless.  While the frequency of our time together varied over the course of our lives, that special friendship persisted.  We knew that we would always have each other’s back.  Special memories of times together from all stages of our more than fifty years of friendship have rushed back to me over the course of the last week.  I will continue to cherish those memories for the rest of my life.  Of his many special qualities as a person, perhaps for me the most striking was Kevin’s overwhelming generousity of spirit toward others.  He had an incredible capacity to meet and become friends with people with whom he came in contact as the result of random points of interaction over the course of a day.  As he became more and more successful professionally, he seemed driven most by a desire to help others achieve their life goals.  I was always amazed by the number of people for whom Kevin was instrumental in helping them take a major step forward in their career, often by helping them get hired for that first key job.  Of course no one was more important to Kevin than his daughter Lulu, whom he adored.  He was rightfully so very proud of her.  Godspeed my dear friend.  You made a difference and will be deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to the whole family, my thoughts have been with Kevin for the past two weeks or so.  So surreal and untimely, just incomprehensible.  I vividly remember the time about 19 years ago in the fall of 2004 when he hired me in Risk at Millennium, and creating an incredible opportunity for me.  And the times we worked together on the desk, and spent great times outside of work up (the karaoke nights in particular) until 2010 when he left Millennium. We hadn’t been in touch as much since then, the last time we ran into each other on 62nd and Amsterdam, I think it was late 2019. I had just walked out of my gym and he was walking down the street.  We chatted for about 10 minutes, and planned to get together with the rest of the “boys” from Millennium.  I followed up a couple of weeks later, he asked for a rain check—it seemed like Parkinson’s was taking a toll.  That last get together plan unfortunately  didn’t materialized.  Really sad … Rest in peace, dear Kev!  Ventzi

It is with a very heavy heart that I offer my deepest condolences to Kevin's family, especially to his daughter, Lu, his most prized accomplishment. Kevin was one of a kind; deeply passionate, brilliant mind, generous to a fault, fun, witty and charming, and in many respects our adopted brother. He was the closest male relative from my Dad's side, and it's no coincidence that his mom and my dad, who we both lost very young in our lives, were best friends. 
 
I will miss my cousin Kevin very much and am grateful for the many experiences we shared and blessed to have those memories. Most memorable was his enthusiasm with arranging for a baby grand piano to get delivered to my home so that he could have Broadway tunes performed at my sister's 50th birthday party. He and my sister both shared a love of going to Broadway and he was insistent to make it happen.
Kevin was very unique, he really didn't have many blinders or filters the way he saw the world. In fact, I hardly think he looked at his watch to set his pace. It would seem almost anything could be possible if he put his mind to it.
 
A kind and tender soul has left us but may his work and memories be a blessing to all of us.

I joined Kevin’s team at Millennium Risk Management in early 2009, right after the financial crisis. Kevin helped me restart my career, and I greatly benefitted from his guidance. I will forever remember him as a warm and caring leader and friend.

Echoing the sentiments in the beautifully written obituary, Kevin had a profound impact on my during the early days of my career. As someone who had recently immigrated from India, I was having a difficult time finding internships during my summer break from college. Not only did Kevin offer me an internship on his team, he actively mentored me on a day to day basis and providing me broad exposure to the inner workings of his firm. The time and mentorship he provided me in 2006 laid a strong foundation that has served me well to this date.

In Kevin's memory, I hope to be able to continue to support other young promising students in any way I can to help them get that initial boost in their career. 

Thank you Kevin for all that you did for countless people. May your soul rest in peace.

In 2004, Kevin welcomed me into his home with a smile and always good humor while I was doing an internship at a law firm in NY. He never asked me for anything, he always gave to others. I am very grateful for his help and love. I pray for his soul.

 I have endless memories of sharing shenanigans and getting caught coming home from partying in the city when the sun was coming up, praying my mom didn’t catch on.  Ha, she always did.  
Till this day when arriving at an airport (you drove me to catch a flight to Shannon from Kennedy)  I will forever remember mentioning “I just don’t know how planes fly”… well… your physics surfaced and it is all you talked about trying to  explaining to me (like I was following you) into the airport until your walked me to the gate.  I caught my flight, my head was swimming and I did not retain a word of what you said. 
Your math and love for science surfaced, but what I’ll always remember you for was how your world changed when you became a Dad, Lulu (who was Maddie to me for years) was cut short having only had 19 years with you, but will remember your love and support forever.  We all will.  You have been there for me in the best, fun, mischievous times and numerous times needing guidance and support. You’ve left a void in the hearts of everyone’s lives you touched.  From the bottom of my heart, I will cherish you forever.  Rest in peace my dear cousin, who was like a close brother since I can remember - you’ve made a significant impact in our world. I am so grateful to have had such amazing and wonderful memories of my brother, Kevin, as a first-time mother - and also much later, when I gave birth to my second child. He truly enjoyed his niece and nephew, especially when being woken up very early in the morning during his visits with us. Well, that may be a stretch, but let’s say he handled it well!


Kevin had such an exceptional gift for math, and although I did not have a gift for numbers, he was persistent that I also share this passion. So, one afternoon after I just had my second child, he stopped by my house with a calculus book and a willful determination to teach me. As he was teaching me, I was nursing my infant and also keeping a close eye on my three-year-old daughter who was playing nearby. I politely said to Kevin that while I appreciate your confidence in me, I'm in a completely different world than you are right now. He just looked around and replied, "I know you can get this."

More recently, another fond memory of Kevin was when he and his daughter, Lulu, traveled to our home in Virginia at the start of the pandemic. During those three to four months, he became a "bread master" and made all kinds of delicious bread for everyone - plain, seeded, rosemary, and many others! You name it! I even ordered him a chef’s hat to complete his newfound profession! During those couple of months, we made a lot of fun and wonderful memories, especially when Lulu turned 16-years-old in June. Eventually, they left for California, but I'll always hold those memories close to my heart.

I was reminiscing over the fond memories of Uncle Kevin when I was a child. One of the memories that popped into my head was when I was in middle school and learning about the tundra, the coldest of the biomes. I must admit that’s all I remember about the tundra at this point, but I was presenting it to Uncle Kevin in the form of a musical with classical music blasting in the background. I was dancing and singing so much about the tundra (arms flailing around, you get the picture) that he was laughing so hard and could hardly compose himself. Leaning back, rocking back and forth, and hands covering his face and chest. I’ll always remember the smile on his face. Always remember the good times.

I am so sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. He was a great friend and helped me in a tough time in my life. We met through the YPC and UGC and he gave me a job at RBC in project management when I was laid off. He invited me to many concerts to hear his violins - his passion for music was infectious. He was kind, incredibly bright and wonderfully generous. 

Thank you, Kevin. Harrison and I reminisced about you the other night, about how much you helped us both in our careers and lives and we promise to pay it forward as best we can. Rest easy my friend.
