She was born in London in 1968 and her family moved to Birmingham in 1970 where she lived until returning to London to study languages at King's College London and then South Bank University.
There followed a very successful career in digital marketing and she was an internet pioneer working at many of the first and biggest digital advertising agencies in London.
Kate moved to the USA in 2008 with her husband Liam McCormack and New York was very much her happy place. She continued her career in New York becoming Vice President of Integrated Marketing at an iconic fashion brand.
Above all she was a committed friend to many and a devoted partner to Liam. Her friends meant everything to her and she was their tireless cheerleader and supporter, applauding their successes and supporting them through life’s challenges.
Kate will be remembered in particular for her humor, intelligence and compassion. Underneath the spontaneity and wit lay the highest moral principles. She always did the right thing no matter the cost.
Animals, especially dogs, played a huge role in her life, primarily her beloved dogs Lottie and Hudson. She made many close friends in Central Park through canine interactions - mostly friendly ones.
While those who knew her will continue to feel her presence, she will be sorely missed. She is survived by her father Michael Sroczynski and brother Mark Sroczynski.
