Joel Steinberg

Mr. Steinberg passed peacefully at Lenox Hill Hospital with his adoring wife Gail by his side.

He is also survived by his son, Daniel and daughter Tara. 3 grandchildren, 3 nieces and a nephew.

Former United States Navy lieutenant, precedent setting attorney, businessman, pilot, and fisherman. Mr. Steinberg loved life and believed in living it to the fullest. He was much loved and will be missed by his family and friends who appreciated his counsel, words of wisdom, intelligence and sense of humor. Mr. Steinberg was a patriot who believed in serving his country, and that service would continue throughout his life in a variety of ways which was recognized by more than one United States President.
