Jerry was born in 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. After serving in the Army in Germany, he was admitted to the pharmacy program at St. Johns Universtiy. He was hired immediately after graduation by a large pharmaceutical company where he had a very successful career, retiring in 1997 as President of the veterinary division.
Jerry was a people person and was universally adored. He always had a smile on his face, a witty one liner and a supportive ear. Jerry was with Joyce, the love of his life, for 66 years of wedded bliss.
His greatest joy in life was his family, who he always put first, second, third, and always.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, his children Ronald, Susan & Jay, his grandchildren Allison, Jonathan, Gregory, Liza & Will and his great-grandchildren Jacob, Freddy, and Billy.
