James Anthony Barnes

James Anthony Barnes was born on May 31, 1956 in Kingston Jamaica West Indies to Mrs. Joyce Kelly and the late Mr. Gilbert Barnes. James, raised and mentored by his step-father Mr. Uriah Kelly (deceased). He completed High School in Kingston Jamaica. James was employed with the Board of Education in New York City for many years.

He met the love of his life, Verletta Patrice Barnes and they were united in holy Matrimony on November 19, 1993. Their union was blessed with one child. James had 9 older children. Verletta loved and embraced all her stepchildren. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed his job working with the children. James enjoyed spending time with his baby son Nicholas Barnes. He was extremely caring and compassionate, and a huge advocate for Nicholas who suffers from Rasmussen Disorder.

James leaves behind, his wife Verletta Patrice Barnes, his amazing Children Sentrina Elizabeth Barnes, Kragea Barnes, Garret Nairchos Barnes, Ashandy Sedrnnie Barnes, Ricardo Barnes, Raldine Barnes,Yanique Barnes, Bianca Barnes, Rushane Barnes, and Nicholas Barnes
