Frank Kelly, a lifelong servant to his family and community, passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 79. Born in March of 1945, Frank lived a life dedicated to the people he loved and to public service.
Frank was a devoted husband, a proud father, and an adoring grandfather to six beloved grandchildren, each of whom he cherished deeply. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he found immense joy in every moment spent with them. He was a guiding figure, always present with love, wisdom and laughter.
His commitment to serving others was reflected in his career as a Suffolk County Police Officer, where he worked with honor and integrity. Frank’s dedication to protecting his community never wavered throughout his years on the force, where he made his mark with his professionalism and compassion.
Frank also selflessly volunteered with the Greenlawn Fire Department, extending his passion for service into the heart of his community. His tireless efforts and dedication to others will be remembered as a testament to his character.
Frank Kelly leaves behind a legacy of love, service and dedication that will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched during his many years of service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Central Park Conservancy or the ACDS Foundation. Please include the note "In Memory of Frank Kelly, grandfather of Jack Kelly" with any contributions made to the ACDS Foundation.
A Memorial Service will be held at Frank E. Campbell - The Funeral Chapel (1076 Madison Avenue) on Saturday October 5th, 11-1p.
Burial and Memorial Service to follow in Olive Bridge, NY on October 19th.
