Whew, thank goodness Diya, not Dia, always had a great sense of humor. I like to think he's probably laughing at my faux pas. I like to think of him as still around. 


I’m so sorry to hear about Dia. And I'm sorry I didn't keep more in touch. A lot of people have said things that I echo.  
I-We, have lost a damn good guy, period. Dia was always kind, smart, funny, supportive, and yes ... a good tennis player too. Dia, you were really a joy to be around. Did I mention funny? 
I hope all these memories brings a smile to your heart, he certainly has for me.

The world has list a beautiful soul last week. Diya's passing will leave a vacuum so difficult to fill. I have yet to meet a successful man like him who was at the same time so humble, generous and compassionate.  Whenever I visited NYC, having lunch or dinner with Diya was a must.  He shall forever be missed.

New York will never be the same without him. 

Diya - I am so sorry that I did not have a chance to say goodbye.

You treated me like a son when I needed a father figure and I will always remember your love and your compassion and how you helped me through my darkest hours.

For that, I am eternally in debt to you and I wish that someday I will see you in heaven and tell in person just how much your love meant to me

He was an absolutely wonderful man and will be so missed.  I first worked with Diya back in 1997 and as he developed the early stages of Job Diva, I loved to commiserate with him.  I am broken hearted to hear of his passing. 

I am truly heartbroken to learn of Diya's passing.  He was an amazingly kind, generous and sincere gentleman.  His love for his family, his business and his Lebanese heritage was abundantly clear in every aspect of his life.  I had the pleasure of befriending Diya when I worked with JobDiva, and we connected over our Lebanese backgrounds, families and love of the cuisine!  My deepest sympathies to his wife and children, family, friends and employees.  He was a one of a kind that will be missed forever.

I loved  that Guy!  Diya was always the first one to flash that Big Smile.  He always made me feel so welcome. What a Class Act.  He built a business that treats customers like they were his best friend.  It does come from the Top.  My Sincere condolences to his family and all his many friends.

I met this full of life, quirky, intelligent man who helped change the trajectory of my life. A man who saw the possibilities in myself that I sometimes did not believe in. I am grateful that we met when we did, otherwise I doubt I would have been equipped to handle life as an immigrant in NYC. His intelligence and EQ surrounded him with like minded friends, colleagues and acquaintaces. Nobody, especially an immigrant newly living in NYC felt safer knowing he was there as he was one of the best teachers and was never shy to share his experiences and offer advise. He led with generosity in his heart and that is how I will always remember him and for how much joy his kids brought him. Most experiences with Diya was a learning moment and I just want to say here Thank you Diya for always teaching, always encouraging and nudging people in the right direction to be better and do better. To Tanya and Patricia and Oliver, my deepest condolences.
Diya, you are already greatly missed.

I just learned today of Diya's untimely passing and wish to extend my sincere condolances to his family.  He was a greatly respected leader in our industry and we all owe him a debt of gratitude for creating and overseeing the constant improvements in JobDiva. I feel I have lost a brilliant friend and my heart goes out to his immediate  family as well as his JobDiva family. May he rest in peace. 

     Just learned of this news and I am truly saddened. I am head of security at the building where he has his company and I enjoyed every greeting and conversation we ever had. Such a brilliant, generous sweet man. He will be greatly missed, our staff is heartbroken and he will not be forgotten. May God bless his children, wife, his family and friends. You are all in our my prayers.
