Aunt Betty was always the fun aunt. I’m sorry our mothers couldn’t get past their juvenile nonsense and destroyed our family. Growing up with grandma and grandpa was amazing. They adored the four of their grandchildren . I’m sorry to hear your mom has passed away. Dorine passed away in 12/20/23.

Dear Betty Beatus Family,

Betty brings my daughter Francesca and myself the most amazing insightful memories of her style and zeal for life. She was hip and cool. As her neighbors at 12B we grew closer year after year. Bonding with her through the Pandemic witnessing the change of New York city,reminiscing over talks, food and wine brought twinkles to our eyes.
She was one of a kind.
I thank her for the care she gave Teddy, her brutally honest truthful assessments of life. She forever is imprinted in out mind. 
She was a insightful fun woman which her whole family and friends will always be proud of. We miss you.

So many great memories I have of my Aunt Betty growing up! Betty was a beauty & true New Yorker & she loved her family. 
I have so many found memories of Betty & my mother Dixie Lee Zirkin two beauties one blonde & the other brunette. How I loved watching their friendship as a child as they had such fun when they were together. The stories & laughter went on for days when she visited us in DC. 
I know they are planning a great dinner party now that they are together again.
