Dear Carole and Family,

Alex was a formative appraiser and Certified member of the Appraisers Association of America.  As a past President, he continued to provide sage advice to advance the profession and to strengthen Association.  Alex will be greatly missed.

Dear Carole and family, Alex has left an indelible impression in the lives of so many. Carlos and I have been looking at the book you so lovingly put together for his 100th birthday. We were fortunate to celebrate his 103rd birthday at the HFFNY Gala with him last May. His was a rich and inspiring life filled with art and love and human solidarity. Our love and thoughts are with you during this sad time.


   In the words of Queen Elizabeth, "Sorrow is the price we pay for love.  There is a lot of the world deeply in sorrow  for the loss of this man of knowledge.  I so enjoyed calling him and just talking.  He always left me with a little extra learning which made me think more on the value of life's mission.  At 102 he made me rethink retirement and how to live a more fruitful life.  I am sadden by the fact that I can no longer just call him on the phone and laugh.  We lose President and Kings but this is one man who brought knowledge and wisdom to  the next higher level.  God bless and may the people heaven learn from your wisdom.  He was and angle in life and now it is official.

As humans we are all unique. But Alex Rosenberg was more unique.  I loved the guy! Emily J Goodman

Amongst so many, we were fortunate to know him for many years, always sharing stories, events of the day, but most importantly his keen mind. Although Alex reached an extraordinary age, there is no doubt it will be a terrible void in your life. May you have the strength and ability to move on, sharing your wisdom and ability to organize with all who welcome your talent
