Aaron was born and raised in Washington Heights NY, son of Abe and Lena Schochet, predeceased by his wife Debra Schochet (nee Lubich) and his sister Harriet Schochet. He graduated NYU, became a CPA, worked in a financial capacity for the US Army and then became successful business man in the clothing industry. He married Debra in 1960 and they were married for 58 years. He was happy to travel the world on her coattails as they set out on adventures together pre and post retirement and are now reunited. He had a great sense of humor and was instantly loved by those who knew him, up until the end. He is survived by his daughter Susan Schochet, predeceased by his son Steven Schochet and surrounded by loving immediate and extended family and friends. Service is Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:30 am at "The Riverside," 76 St. and Amsterdam Ave. Donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org
